Revopoint POP 4 3D Scanner
Versatile hybrid 3D scanner for small and medium-sized objects
The Revopoint POP 4 is a versatile handheld 3D scanner that combines blue laser technology with infrared structured light. Thanks to five different scanning modes, the scanner can be used for a variety of applications, from accurately digitising small parts to capturing people and medium-sized objects. This makes the POP 4 suitable for 3D printing, reverse engineering, product development, digital archiving, and creating 3D content for VR and AR applications.
For detailed scans, the POP 4 features 30 crossed blue laser lines with an accuracy of up to 0.03 mm and a scan speed of up to 105 frames per second when using a suitable NVIDIA-GPU. For hard-to-reach parts, such as deep holes and narrow grooves, you can switch to a single blue laser line. Dark, shiny, and relatively flat surfaces can often be captured in many situations without first applying scan spray.
Five scanning modes for different objects and conditions
In addition to the blue laser modes, the POP 4 also features Full-Field HD, VCSEL Rapid, and Hybrid HD. With infrared structured light, objects and people can be scanned without markers, while the VCSEL mode offers a larger scan range of up to 800 mm. The scanner also supports outdoor use in ambient light of up to 100,000 lux in VCSEL mode. For blue laser scanning under very bright outdoor light, a separate Outdoor Blue Filter is available.
Real-time AI segmentation helps during scanning to distinguish the desired object from the background, reducing the need to remove unwanted scan data. The integrated RGB camera also enables colour scans. In addition to traditional point clouds and meshes, the POP 4 also supports photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting, allowing for the creation of realistic digital representations of objects for visualisation and interactive 3D applications.
