Tundra Tracker x4 Bundle

The Tundra Tracker is a smaller and lighter alternative to other VR body trackers, such as the HTC VIVE tracker. Weighing in at just ~50 grams, the Tundra tracker is the smallest VR tracker on the market. The Tundra tracker is designed with its centre of gravity at the base of the tracker, minimising movement when you have it on a strap. The Tundra tracker features an 850 mAh battery that provides (on average) 7 hours of playtime..

The Tundra tracker comes with a standard 1/4" baseplate (quarter inch). This allows you to place the Tundra tracker on the most common tracker straps, such as the Unbound TrackStraps, EOZ Premium Straps</a> of de <a href=">Rebuff TrackStrap set.

The Tundra Tracker utilises SteamVR tracking and is out-of-the-box compatible with all SteamVR headsets and controllers (like HTC VIVE Pro and Valve Index). In some cases, Tundra trackers can also be used with Quest 2, via OpenVR Space Calibrator. By attaching one of the four trackers to the headset, calibration can be performed automatically..

The Tundra x4 Bundle includes 4 x Tundra Trackers (with accompanying accessories) and 1 x SW4 dongle.

Tundra trackers are excellent!
I am very pleased with the Tundra Trackers. It's always nice when a Kickstarter product meets your expectations (especially considering the price of these trackers). They are beautifully compact and work well. And because they are so light, you can easily attach them to your arms and feet (I use them together with the straps from Eoz). Some people have had issues with the trackers, but fortunately, everything worked perfectly for me from the start.

Full-body tracking in a small package
My review in brief:

- More comfort
- Much better battery life, even compared to the Vive 3.0-trackers.
- Only 1 dongle needed
- Some minor coupling issues
- Cables are a bit short
- Display with base stations is somewhat poorer

And all this is cheaper than the HTC Vive trackers. It feels like Vive is facing real competition with this. There are things like Kinect, SlimeVR, and StonX. But they don't feel like direct competitors to the Vive trackers. They are more "alternatives for people on a budget". Tundra is a real direct competitor for high-end tracking.
