Ordering from the United Kingdom: How does it work at Unbound XR?
Our customers from the United Kingdom can continue to order from Unbound XR even after Brexit, but there are a few important changes that we outline below:
Taxes
For orders up to a value of GBP 135, a 20% VAT will be added to the order. This applies to all orders shipped to the UK from 1 January 2021 and intended for consumers. This also applies to orders received in 2020 but delivered in 2021.
For orders over GBP 135, the buyer must pay the import duties and clearance fees in the UK. In most cases, this means that the British customer is responsible for paying these fees.
Additional Costs
Shipping to the UK requires extra forms to be filled out and sent with each order. A fee of €17.50 per order is charged for these additional tasks. These costs are already included in the shipping fees.
Delivery Times
Due to the additional procedures, both by Unbound XR and at the customs border, an extra 1-2 working days should be added to our standard delivery time for our shipments to the UK.
