The Varjo XR-4 is equipped with advanced eye-tracking, allowing it to accurately track eye movements, significantly enhancing the interactive experience.
With inside-out tracking, the Varjo XR-4 eliminates the need for external sensors in the room, providing a more streamlined and user-friendly XR-ervaring.
In previous Varjo models (VR-3, XR-3), a subscription to Varjo Base was required to use the headset. However, with the Varjo XR-4, this is no longer necessary. This headset can be used and purchased without a subscription.
The Varjo XR-4 requires a wired connection, meaning users are always physically connected to a PC via a cable. It is not possible to use the headset wirelessly.
For optimal performance of the Varjo XR-4, a powerful PC is required, preferably with an RTX 4070 graphics card or an even more powerful configuration.
Note: to sun damage prevent, it is essential to ensure that the lenses of the headset are not directly exposed to sunlight.
At this moment, the XR-4 is for business use only. You need to link your Varjo account to an organisation to use the headset.

Can I use my Varjo headset without an internet connection?
By default, a Varjo headset needs to connect to the internet every 48 hours to verify the user license. With the purchase of an Offline licence or the Secure Edition, this bi-daily check is no longer required, and the device can be used offline indefinitely.
