The XREAL AURA is a new generation spatial computing glasses that combine the portability of an AR glasses with the capabilities of a full-fledged Android XR platform. Unlike simple display glasses, the XREAL AURA is designed as a complete spatial computing system, consisting of a lightweight glasses and a separate compute puck. This better distributes performance, battery usage and wearing comfort, while keeping the glasses compact and suitable for prolonged use.

The glasses feature an optical see-through display with a field of view of 70 degrees, allowing digital content to be displayed spatially while the real environment remains directly visible. Thanks to Sony Micro-OLED screens with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels per eye and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the XREAL AURA is suitable for entertainment, productivity, spatial media and interactive XR applications. The built-in electrochromic dimming offers five transparency levels, so users can easily switch between more focus focus on digital content or more visibility of the environment.

The XREAL AURA runs on Android XR and supports Gemini as an integrated AI assistant. With the user's permission, Gemini can assist based on what is visible on the screen or in the environment. This makes the glasses interesting for applications such as navigation, learning, collaboration, creative workflows and contextual support during work. Additionally, millions of apps are available through Google Play, including familiar applications like YouTube, Google Maps, Chrome, Photos and Gemini AI.

For spatial interaction, the XREAL AURA is equipped with world-facing tracking cameras, 6DoF spatial anchoring, hand tracking and real-time AI perception. This allows the user to not only view digital content, but also interact more naturally with it through hands, voice and the touchpad on the compute puck. External Bluetooth accessories such as keyboards, mice and game controllers are also supported, making the glasses suitable for both mobile use and productive work setups.

The compute puck is powered by the Snapdragon Reality Elite platform and works in conjunction with the XREAL X1S Spatial Coprocessor in the glasses. This dual-chip architecture ensures stable spatial display, low latency and sufficient computing power for Android XR experiences. In addition, the puck supports DP-in via USB-C, allowing the XREAL AURA to also be connected to a PC, laptop or handheld console. With spatial audio, Bose EQ-tuning, a 4-microphone array, Wi-Fi 6/6E and Bluetooth 5.3, the XREAL AURA is a versatile spatial computing solution for entertainment, work and development.
