In contrast to the XREAL Air 2 and Air 2 Pro, which focus on media consumption, the Air 2 Ultra offers full spatial positioning. The glasses are equipped with SONY micro-OLED displays with a resolution of 1080p per eye and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The field of view is slightly larger at 52 degrees than that of the Air 2 and Air 2 Pro. The Air 2 Ultra offers the same high brightness, with a slightly more robust metal frame and a weight of just 80 grams for long-term wearing comfort.
This pair of glasses comes with support for the XREAL Nebula SDK, allowing developers to build mixed reality applications. This enables 3D objects to be placed, hand tracking to be applied, and AR functionality to be integrated into your own software. The Air 2 Ultra is compatible with Android devices, laptops, and can be connected via USB-C or the XREAL Beam.
The Air 2 Ultra is designed for professional use and offers features not available on the Air 2 or Air 2 Pro, such as full positional tracking and real-world mapping. This makes this model the ideal choice for businesses, developers, and pioneers in spatial computing.
